The Wedding
We’re getting married!
When: FRIDAY August 21st
Where: Radisson Hotel, Kathmandu, Nepal
Other Useful Information
- Logistics for travelers:
- Vaccines and Visas: If you are going to visit only Kathmandu and Pokhara, you will not need a malaria vaccine. Malaria and cholera exist in part of the country but they’re not an issue in these two higher-altitude cities.
The visa will cost $30 (bring cash and a passport-sized ID photo that you can part with), and you can get it at the airport once you arrive. To get your visa quickly be prepared by bringing a filled visa form (download from http://travelplanner.com.np/visa_det.php), 2 photographs, exact tender of cash ($30). This way you won’t have to hunt down forms at the Kathmandu airport.
- Air Travel: Please contact these travel agents, to find the best rates for your personal itinerary (ask for rates from different airlines). Pick dates that are convenient for you–the suggested group tour dates are: August 12th - August 26th.
